The Senior Farmers’ Market Nutrition Program (SFMNP) gives eligible seniors a set of checks worth a total of $20 to be used at approved Farmers Markets and Farm Stands throughout the state of Pennsylvania.
Distribution on Tuesday, June 16

Eligibility Requirements
If you live outside of Allegheny County check with your local county eligibility requirements.
Allegheny County resident eligibility
- 60 years of age or older by December 31, 2015
- Meet the income guidelines (self-reported):
- One person household: At or below $21,775
- Two-person household: At or below $29,471*
*Married couples may each receive one set of checks
Older adults living in a nursing home, convent, or residential facility that provides meals on a regular basis are not eligible to receive SFMNP checks.
