Food Delivery Personnel


Locations: Western PA – Various Locations

Employment Type: Part Time – No Minimum Hours

Compensation: $16/hour + mileage

Meals, food and health/hygiene items will be delivered to home-bound seniors and families throughout Western PA.

All deliveries will be made to a front porch or apartment door.  No contact will occur between the Food Delivery Personnel and recipients of deliveries.  The Food Distribution policy will be followed by all Delivery Personnel.

All applicants must pass all necessary clearances.  If you have food/restaurant experience, ServSafe certification, and Delivery experience please note on application.

 

Registered Nurses


Locations: Allegheny, Armstrong, Beaver, Butler, Lawrence, Washington, Westmoreland, Fayette, Greene, and other surrounding counties.

Employment Type: Independent Contractor, Seasonal/Casual

Hours:  Mostly August through November months.

  • Monday through Friday, daylight hours.
  • Short hour shifts (generally 1-4 hours)
  • Shift time between 4 am and 8 pm, Multiple Shifts per day possible
  • Shift Assignments are scheduled based on your availability & location of the event.
  • Travel time and mileage compensated for long-distance travel

Compensation: $25/hour (paid monthly, 1099)

We are looking for Registered Nurses (RN) who would like to work part-time on an as-needed basis. We are based in Allegheny County but have clients throughout Southwestern PA.

Most of the work takes place during September-November giving immunization injections at on-site clinics. Perfect for extra income before the holidays!

Requirements:

  • Must have current Nursing License for Licensed Practical Nurse, Registered Nurse, or Nurse Practioner
  • Must have Mandated Child Abuse Reporting Certificate
  • Must have Personal Liability Insurance
  • Must have Act 33, 34, & 73 Clearances
  • Must have current CPR certification & proof of immunizations (TDAP, Hep B, TB, & influenza)
  • Must complete CDC-Immunization Training Modules upon hire
  • Must have current Driver’s License & Car Insurance

If you do not have Personal Liability Insurance, we recommend contacting the Nurses Services Organization (NSO) 1-800-247-1500 for their low-cost professional liability.

A few of our nurses were able to add a low-cost rider to their own home owner’s policy.  The American Nurses Association strongly recommends that today’s nurses carry his or own professional liability insurance even if they are covered through their employers.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer immunizations & maintain safety regulations at clinics held in senior apartment facilities, senior centers, family affordable housing, corporations, school districts, and community events.
  • Responsible for all immunizations & clinic supplies while in your possession
  • Perform various health screenings, biometric assessments, and results counseling at community and corporate events.
  • Complete necessary paperwork & return it to the office after each clinic.

Service Coordinator


Affordable Housing

Employment Type: Part-time – will not lead to full-time

Locations:

  • Erie, 6 hours per week, $16.25/hour
  • Waynesboro, 12 hours per $16.25/hour

Compensation: Dependent upon location;

Responsibilities may include:

Facilitating access for seniors to available services and entitlement benefits,

  • Scheduling on-site educational and service programs,
  • Working closely with residents to develop activities that meet social, health, and recreational needs,
  • Developing a monthly newsletter or calendar of events,
  • Organizing and facilitating monthly meetings,
  • Assist residents with any issues and concerns that they may have such as transportation issues, employment resources, help with their bills, money management, homemaker services, gaining access to community resources and social service agencies. 

This is a part-time position that will not lead to full time. Hours will be weekdays M-F.

Mandatory Requirements: College degree with 3 years of social work or a customer service related field experience High School Diploma with 10 years of customer service related field  experience

  • Must have Act 33, 34, & 73 Clearances
  • Must have Mandated Child Abuse Reporting Certificate
  • College degree with 3 years of Social Service or Customer Service experience
  • Must be able to start prior to 3 pm
 

Clinical Event Coordinator

Responsibilities:

  • Pick up and drop off of supplies and paperwork to the main office (located in Mt. Lebanon, PA)
  • Administering paperwork for immunization screening clinics
  • Assisting Nurses and Screeners with non-medical duties as-needed
  • Handing out information on Pathways Wellness Programs
 

Registered Nurse Coordinator


Locations:

  • Erie, PA – 2 hrs/week with seniors
  • Muncy, PA – 2 hrs/week with seniors

Employment Type: Independent Contractor, Part-Time (will not lead to full time)

Compensation: $25.50/hr (paid monthly, 1099)

Requirements:

  • Must have current Nursing License for Licensed Practical Nurse, Registered Nurse, or Nurse Practioner
  • Must have Mandated Child Abuse Reporting Certificate
  • Must have Personal Liability Insurance
  • Must have Act 33, 34, & 73 Clearances
  • Must have current CPR certification

  • Take blood pressures of residents that live in an independent living environment
  • Present a 30-minute talk/discussion with residents on a relevant medical topic
  • Assist residents with medical issues such as but not limited to answering questions about health-related topics, assisting them in obtaining their prescriptions, setting up doctor appointments, contacting physicians if a medical need should arise.
  • Meet with residents who express some interest or concern about their well-being
